Default 555danny runs a 10.9 sec 1/4 mile proving API can get in the 10's with a road car!!!

hi all...... I managed to pull a 10.9 second 1/4 mile at shakespeare county race way this afternoon!!!!
With the help of API Performance Impreza's New 2.1 COSWOTH Stroke ENGINE!!!
THANKS TO ALL AT D&G Racing and API ..
WHO HAVE HELPED GET ME HERE over the years
Thanks to mick for building the engine,
thanks to Rob for building the gearbox,
Thanks to Nathan for fitting it all under the hood.....
AND BOB RAWLE FOR THE MAPPING and last and by no means least thanks to API Dave for talking me into it.......
THIS PROVES THAT API CAN BUILD A VERY FAST RELIABLE 10 SECOND ROAD LEGAL STREET CAR!!!!

plenty more to come from the famous.... "SONIC"

Thankyou all to the abundance of calls texts and emails, congratulating me on my weekend results.... watch this space as the car is developed.... for recorded bhp/ torque figures and .... to see if i can creep up that leader board????? cheers Danny

Congrats for the result and well done to all involved.

I don't think anyone on here would think or doubt that API can build and produce such results, just they don't talk about it as publicly as others. Never had an issue with David and his team and recommend them to anyone looking for a simple service to a drag car build.

Again top stuff to all

That would be fun going up the "parade" in Leamington on a saturday night,,, about 5 seconds I guess.

Not to much fun if you are behind him as it shoots flames about 3 ft long with the anti lag switched on .

Nice result for Danny ,especially as he did not even believe his Mrs ,when she told him he had done a 10 .

im just proud to get api and I in the 10's, i had no doubt it was in the car.. it was others tuners that doubted...NOT I

I could always have a word with the mayor. See if he would close the road off for a few hours so we could give it a try. It would sound nice with all the buildings either side........ bit Im waiting till I get mine back from David before I ask.

remmember it was only a shake down run,
.... on rain tyres 17's with on road suspension set up and with a full interior and 50 liters of fuel in the tank.....................
