Right, wanna know what you guys think of 5th gear BEFORE they test the scoob vs evo as I know many people will change their minds on the basis of one car test rather than the program as a whole.

All opinions in b4 8pm please! (sorry that only gives us an hour!)

Sorry mr/miss/mrs moderators if this should be in non-scoob(or muppet) section. the program starts in just over an hour and would like as many comments before it starts.

I've only seen the first one, but i think it's quite good. But only 4,000 times better than "driven". personally i can't stand this "Lancer Vs Impreza" it's really doing my head in. Both great cars, but it's all about personal preference

So far I have been most impressed with the format and opinions of the presenters on the show. The Nissan GTI-R last week was superb, all it needs now is Clarkson. Any tests for straight line speed etc, the EVO is bound to win, its a FQ300 (305 bhp) versus a 265bhp stock STI. I would have liked to have seen the bog standard EVO in there as well to see if the extra £1500 is worth paying over the standard EVO. If value for money, handling, service costs and dealer service come into it then the STi should come out on top overall. At the end of the day an unbiased view is all I am concerned about. I like both cars and I am very interested in what will be said about both cars good and bad.

I like it, not much different from Top Gear (even down to the same font being used for the on-screen graphics) but it's clearly on a lower budget than TG. Much, much better than Drivel.

Of course, Clarkson is back on TG so that only makes 5th gear the second best motoring show on TV

I think their road tests are the best in the world...these guys know whats best and what aint, so brace yourselves! There`s screwdrivers and there`s drivers, the drivers have already bought the better car ....
