Default Difference in price of V power to normal fuel?

Years ago Shell Optimax used to be 5p or 6p per litre dearer than normal unleaded> the change of name to V power then went to 7p now the difference appears to be 8p. Anybody any idea why the price difference has increased except for the garages/Shell making more profit?

It's still 5p litre more expensive in Blackpool, so maybe a regional thing? 139.9 at the mo.

I think you've answered your own question there pal. with the rising cost of fuel its an opportunity for the oil companies to squeeze a little extra out of the motorist.

Supply and demand. The fewer people that use V-power the more expensive it will be.
