Weather is supposed to be nice tomorrow (Saturday)

If anyone is up for a little run through the A470 around snowdon to North Wales, would be nice to all meet up, get some photos taken on a gorgeous sunny day ?

I was thinking something like ending up in Colwyn Bay. I'll go look for some kind of route planner online and perhaps we could pick up scoobs along the way. Im in Telford, prob go across to shrewsbury and then welshpool and make my way up the A470 from there. Will post some details soon as i can.

Ive planned a route:
I will make my way to Rhayader from Telford, prob leave 9:30am tomorrow and pick anyone up along the way. Going to stop off at Snowdonia, get some nice pics then head off through a few tunnels up towards colwyn bay, finally stopping at colwyn bay for a break.

EElz if you're still up for it bud, Ill be hitting DOlgellau about 11:30am then onto snowdonia, then up to Colwyn Bay via the A470. Will take some pics and post them up.
Am leaving telford about 9:30am. Just waiting for the missus and kids to wake up. Car is full of V-Power

Done the tunnel twice each way, kids love the tunnels

Just get onto the A470 from Dolgellau and stay on there. There's only one right turn on the road (and you have to keep your eye out for it, near a power station by a huge lake) then its just up and away over the mountains.

Hi rich,

I said to the missus, i aint seen any scoobs and she said she had, i must have missed ya otherwise I would have given a wave bud, i wave at all the scoobs (though loads dont wave back but its great when they do )

WMI are thinking about going up the same route around early september, so I'll put another post up (or the chairman will) and im sure you'd be most welcome to tag along. Would be great having 20-30 scoobs rattling through snowdonia.
