Subaru on ebay - thoughts ??
See this car is still up for sale on ebay :
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2002-SUBARU-IM...item4aab71acc3
looks a nice spec , low mileage, asked the owner about cam belt and claimed it had not been done - appreciatte its under the mileage for change off belt but given age thats the first thing that would be done !!
tax has also ran out - which would mean no on road test drive ??!!
cheapest the guy would go is £3800 no less , worth a look ??

Doesn't look too bad. His english isn't great and the 6 points is worrying but the car seems in pretty good nick. Standard is always better when buying.

Okay thanks yep guy did say standard but did mention the fitting off a new dump valve, this sti intercooler / zero sports induction pipe, likely to make much off a difference ?? is it normal to fit an sti intercooler to the wrx or could it point to a story to be told ??!!

Could be a ppp intercooler as it hasnt got the STI logo. Similar units. at 265bhp I would imagine it has the prodrive performance pack fitted which has the intercooler hose. maybe they upgraded the intercooler too. Induction pipe wont make much of a difference if any difference to power. But looks nice!
Looks like a nice car to me!

Jap Bug WRX's had 250 ish BHP out of the box with AVCS on the inlet side (I think) so unlikely to have PPP as that's a UK thing........Intercooler looks stock bug WRX to me.
Looks clean but after all it's only a WRX, they don't make good money at the moment.
