Default Sti scoop

Hey, ive got a 2005 wrx and have managed to get a 2005 sti scoop which i fitted yesterday, can someone please reassure me that once i have an sti under scoop the bonnet won't lift up and open up one notch as if you've opened it from the inside at over 80mph??!! Its quite concerning lol! Otherwise ill have to go back to my diddy wrx scoop!

Have you changed the under tray and IC?

If not it's only cosmetic and won't necessarily improve performance or airflow.

I just have the scoop for now, am get an sti ic aswell...but i havent been able to get ahold of the undertray yet, i think with my little wrx undertray which doesnt fill the scoop the wind is able to get under the scoop a little too much and lift the bonnet. Which im assuming won't happen once i get the sti undertray?!

This is what ive found out, Jap performance parts reckon they should have one in a couple of weeks for £65 which sounds okay, A bit of bonnet lift is expected but it actually opened one notch as if pulling the lever inside, which never happened with my wrx scoop so im hoping the sti undertray will stop it happening!
