AFAIK the sport special was the runout bugeye sport with morettes and an STi style (not actually a real one) spoiler.......didn't think they were numbered though.

The Sport Special was actually the last of the classics to be made. They made 200 in Yellow and 200 in Black. I know this because Iv got a Black one, number 18. You can find out from your local Subaru dealer, just give them the chassis number.
Mines got a little plaque next to the ash tray saying "Sport Special 18/200"
They do make a Sport in the Bugeye but not a Sport Special
hope this helps dude

The Bugeye and Blobeye had GX/Sport NA versions. The Hawkeye then had an R version and a 1.5 NA Wagon to finish before the new hatch arrived.

When I bought it the prev owner had a gay Pink one fitted (Female owner). I went to my local dealer to confirm the number and then had a nice brass one fitted. I'll take a pic tomorrow for you
