Had a HKS silent hi-power on my old RA Steve which was great for trackdays, had it tested as low as 94db with stock headers at some tracks......Only got this sti bug today, just dont like the nur-spec so looking to remove it.

To the o/p,do you have the bung fitted,as it does make it alot quieter.

i know what you mean tho,the blitz is uber loud,im still searching for a half decent exhaust to replace my blitz at a resoanble price, but i want it jap style/angled exit, seems most exhausts are straight exit for sale at the mo !

good luck on your search

I had the same problem - 103.5dB on static test @ 5krpm. Went to Ian @ H&S who fitted a centre section straight through silencer box, now 87.5 dB, so could consider Bedford !!

I have a 3" de-cat track day system from cobra sports and can't recommend it highly enough. Excellent build quality and fantastic customer service.

It still has the lovely deep burble, and is plenty loud, but not ridiculous. Designed to come in at 94dB which is under I think all uk track limits.

Have a look at exhaustsuk.com to see the system in question. If you're local, you're more than welcome to listen to mine. I love it
