Default Bonnet struts

Does anyone know where i can get some cheap bonnet struts from, i'm bought them in the past for 15 pounds for other cars, theres no way i'm paying 74 pounds for them

There was a group buy for some on here, £59 but think the price has now gone back up to £69.
Can't see why you can't get a set from a scrap yard from say a golf for about a tenner and just modify to fit a Scoob. That's what I'm gonna do anyway.

Yea i've got a set of brand new ones i bought years ago for my nova, never fitted them, might be able fit those, but just can't see why just because its a impreza you have to pay 4 times the price of other cars

It's because they are made from aerospace grade alloy to withstand the high temps and warp speeds

P.S i'd keep quiet about the nova if i were you, before someone starts calling you names like.

"NOVA BOY"

lol

Jay, these are normally pretty powerful so on a classic (light bonnet) you only need to fit one of the pair. So if you want to go halves on a set I'd be up for it?

I used to have a Red Mk I astra GTE and then a white Mk II astra GTE with the electronic dash.

Both had way too much for the front wheels and the chassis........

better get back to NSR after that confession LOL

it seems EVERYTHING for the Impreza is so much more expensive.

Remap from red.dot - £250

Anything ECU related for the Scooby or so it seems is at least £450+
