I have a 1999 type ra v3 when going round a bend or round about fast the engine cuts out for a few seconds as if fuel starvation any ideas?

Fuel surge. What corners? Left or right? How much fuel in the tank when it happens?

my guess that it is going around to the right, and half a tank or under of fuel

Hi thanks for the reply and its either bend really but mainly goin right i.e roundabouts and it still does it when i have half a tank! i mean subarus are rally cars should be able to throw them around any bends at any speed! lol

Different car i know i had this prob on a ford and it was a fuel filter that was the problem..

Do you have a turbo timer fitted?

The car had a new fuel filter few weeks ago and no turbo timer fitted.

Had a similar problem on a Sierra Cosworth a few years ago. After much aggro turned out someone had fitted a standard fuel tank to it (i.e. No Swirl Pot) so it had fuel cut on cornering hard even with plenty of fuel! 'Bout my luck that!!
