plasma dials
hi all, just got a set of plasma dials for my bug eye , so decided to spend some time this afternoon taking my old dials out and investigating the wiring . the dials themselves are a piece o'cake to fit, but with the kit you have a small transformer with a positive and a negative " rediculously short by the way " it sais u simply connect the positive to the 12v that works the lights and neg to earth or negative wire . do u think this is best left to the pros ? cos the amount of wires behind the clocks is crazy !! also why are the wires always sooo bloody short ?

Solder them onto a bulb holder, I had Plazmas on my old car and they wired on that way.
You don`t need the bulb in there, as you have the plazma sheeting.
If you plug the holder in and it doesn`t work, then remove the holder twist 180 degrees and put back in. As they are the same as LED`s in that they need the correct polarity.
This will be more than enough for the Plazmas, I would show you pics of mine but my photobucket isn`t working today.
