clutch recomendation 4 450 bhp p1?
#7
Depends on torque not BHP.
My P1 runs circa 450bhp/380ftlb and it's been fine on a 5 speed AP Racing Organic for thousands of miles/several years. I don't do drag strips etc, but it does get driven hard.
Probably near limit at 380ft lb so if you're running something torquier or are a Santa Pod type then probably best to go ACT single plate or one of the double plate clutches ( but be prepared for rattling in the latter case).

AP racing at that level. Everytime! Give David at APi a bell!
OEM like to use: no point in faffing around with twin plate clutches which are noiser and harder to drive than std arrangements until you need to!
