Driven few months and returned to petrol.Great for saving money(sometimes will end with bigger bill),but depend on system fitted and for what are you looking.

If you had been on LPG it would have spent about £400-£500 on fuel. I've been running LPG since last June and I have broken even on the conversion cost. I am paying 70p a litre but the car still uses petrol whilst it warms up (about 4 miles). It've covered 2200 miles since the last time I filled up with petrol and the fuel light is still not on.

If you want full on performance then LPG probably isn't the answer for you, if you are happy with a slight reduction in your current performance then LPG is great.

There are a lot of other threads about LPG, this one has photos of my install

Pass on the smart car, im more of a reliant kitten man lol .

Good link mate . I will definately look further into this. If I could make a £200 - £300 saving a month it would soon pay for itself. The car itself is only a weekend toy but I've seen me put in £120 in one day .

Scotland has some amazing roads especially on the west coast.
