im currently saving up for my 1st impreza,type ra i think im after but got a few questions i need answering please (dont take the **** if they are daft questions as im new to scoobies having owned vauxhalls all my life)

1-are uprated oil pumps necessary? ive heard the standard oil pump is ****e


2-seen a type r sti (version 6 i think) with clutch start.....what is this and why?



3-a work mate used to own a sti classic and had problems with his cooling system,he was banging on about it being different from a normal car-pressurised or summat-he said he had to get a high pressure rad cap or summat? is he talking ****e?



4-if i were to get a type ra what would be the best year to try and get one from (spec wise/reliability wise etc)

No 2, I believe you have to depress the clutch for the engine to turn over, probable ECU related.
