Default sti gearboxes

hi,does anyone know if all the ratios are the same in the sti5 and 6?
also do the sti5 or 6 type r boxes have any differences to the non type r box?
i like the ratios in the 98 v4 type r and if i was to upgrade the box to a p1,sti5,sti6/type r which one would be the most identical to the v4 type r box i have.
i know the v4 type r box i have will break one day,i wont be going six speed and this option would allow me to run up to 400bhp.
so trying to find out which one is the best upgrade for power (754) and the one thats most similar in ratios to my own.
thanks.

5th in the P1 is longer, I believe the Type-R is 70mph @ 4000rpm.

Sorry mate I didn't see you mention the P1 - yes, 5th is longer on those.

I saw the thread about your big ends, gutted for you mate

What are you doing about them, secondhand engine or a cheeky forged build?

I should really put a few pics of my new car up.
