This brought things home...

Just learnt that a colleague from work was recently broken into and her and her boyfriend were beaten up...
If thats is not bad enough the only reason they broke in was because her boyfriend had a scooby sitting on the driveway and they wanted this. Bearing in mind she lives in Marlow (supposedly a nice area) and the car was tracked in Slough (1min from my house!!)
Just thought a would let scooby owners around this area know that it is not just the rough parts of London where this happens.
Anyway warning over, everyone please be careful and alert.

My god
I dont beleive this what is the world coming to ?
Hope you colleague and girl friend is ok.
Least the car had tracker on.
The problem is what can we do about it? even with all the security in the world. If they want that car, they will go to what ever measures they deem fit to take, to get our pride and joys.
Trouble is, if we caught them doing this and beat them up it would be us that got done by the law (so old fashion its a joke ).

Heres the funny thing (not very apt but still). The car was limited to 112mph so they done 5 'jobs' in the car and then though they could outrun the police and chopper!!!! They are now banged up in Slough nick.
GOOD F*CKING RIDDANCE!

Wow. Sorry to hear that. I'm kinda glad I live in an apartment...makes it harder for them to get the keys.
On a similar note though, I went to my car the other day, and some pikey ba5tard had put nails in both the righthand-side tyres!!!
Had to pay £450 to replace the three (one was worn anyway)!!!

That's the problem - Marlow is a nice area (and therefore a soft target). Working in Slough I know what it is like. We have been adviced recently by the police about the number of car-jackings in the area

Cheers..
I can recommend a Fireblade! lucky enogh to have an old Fireblade and an old Scooby.
Might be worth checked the insurance though as everyone knows what a Fireblade is and the insurance reflects that.
We shouldn't give into this scum, but then again it is not worth risking life and limb!
