I used 1 gal petrol cans x 2 for everyday. Took the 25 litre Jennychem container as well when I went touring Scotland ! Not recommended to take that amount !

^^ More power (!) - 10 to 20% mix with normal fuel but needs a map to suit. A chap at recent 30-130 day had his in metal jerry cans.

I assumed the latter, i.e. the stuff what tramps drink Think he means methanol though. That said methylated spirits does sometimes have methanol in it Confusing huh!

carry mine in 5L plastic petrol cans, great stuff, 436bhp/460ft from a 20g ! (20% mix)

if you carried a 1 gallon can in your boot could you then top up with the right amount of fuel as I am thinking a bit to go down this road just the carrying and storage which in concerning me

plus i never know in litres how much is in my tank when im filling up?

so how do i calculate it, does it have to be exactly right, does the map adapt accordingly to different ratios if your slightly out?

when i use to use it, i used around a 10% mix

1l meth to 9l v-power
2l meth to 18l v-power
etc etc

use to carrl a 5l jerry can with a security cap (like the pill bottles, has to be pushed down to undo)

so I guess thats a yes then you can top up after putting meth in your tank how exact have you got to be when topping up with fuel and how does garages react when sticking in meth in your tank 1st

2.5, forged pistons, sti 3 heads, twisted 20g, 3" exhaust, simtek etc etc

as regards to measuring it out i marked up 1L increments on the side of my clear containers. Normally i wait until im just below half way on the fuel gauge the chuck in 5L of meth and 20L of vpower, not had anyone say anything yet, assume they think its just petrol from a can going in !

its always best to add a lil extra meths...........anyless and your not what you mapped for which could cause issues anymore and its ok............most people who use meths prob put a lil dab in extra I do and also people I know do...........and when your coming off meths if you are using various maps on the car its not a huge drama when you switch to a normal v power map if you still have a bit of meths left in the tank.

as for garage reactions I have had no dramas whatsoever.......been using meths for a few years........however no doubt there are garages with some **** staff on there wether they know what your doing or not.

theres no arguement.......he's on a 20% mix which means 20% of the fuel in the car has to be meths........so 20 litres of fuel (80%) and the meths 5 litres(20%)

20L vpower +20%=4L Meths
25L vpower +20%=5L Meths

theres a million and one ways you can work it out as long as 20% of what you put in is meths then jobs a goodun..........and throw in an extra 1/4litre for good measure

i have a 50L tank (early classic) so 10L of meth and 40L of fuel = 20% meth and 80% fuel, this is basic math by anyone's standard !
