MY01

As they said... they'll be changing the bonnet forward; the pics here show the side and backend pretty much 'untouched' yet the frontend has different headlights/bonnet/front bumper :-)

(I've got a feeling i've seen these pics before.. maybe just before the MY01 was released?)

Anyone want to buy a MY01 Blue WRX in Australia???? (seriously!)

I'm sure these are old pitures. That said, they do at least show that designs for a car with a more aggressive front end do exist and can be manufactured, so maybe they'll decide that this early attempt was actually better, and put it into production?

remember they always "Disguise" protoype cars. The larger scoop is probably one of the other things used to throw people off (as its just plastic). Like the centreof the bonnet... that looks pretty faked on.. Headlights look odd though it does look like saph lights hopethere just bits of cardboard... I wouldn't rush out and sell your MY01's just yet

The big scoop is because it is an STi - take a look at the wheels.

The driver is Kazuo Shimizu, who funnily enough writes for Autocar now.
