Definately !
In fact I am hard pressed to tell the difference between this and my previous MY99 turbo in terms of acceleration.

What I have n't told you is when I take the car to work through all the traffic it plummets to 21 mpg !!

26 mpg is my "average" from a mixture of slow traffic work, country blasts and touring (constant 40 - 60 mph). I used to average 27-28 in my MY99

Try de-catting the exhaust - you'll be tempted to rev it more and the fuel economy will drop further. I used to get 27 mpg, removed the rear cat and got down to 25, removed the uppipe cat and got 24, only the downpipe to go! Any offers!

MY01
No cats (the up-pipe's gone as well).
local a / b roads and by-pass.
never more that 18mpg (optimax + octane booster)
last tank 14mpg (seems about average now).
i suspect it's a bit sad keeping a check on it, but i do get great pops bangs and the occassional flame- so it's worth every penny!

I am sure once my car has piled the miles on and I start giving her some, the MPG will drop. I promise

Unhappy

I'm only getting 22/23 and still running in...!? Must be the fact it's country roads and traffic jams
Hope it improves after my 1,000 mile service.
