I was under the impression that the cars were basically the same shell so the spoilers should be the same too shouldn't they?

They'll fit fine. As John says above the Blob wasn't released in the States till 2004 hence why they say 2004 onwards

Be carefull taking the nuts off as it's VERY easy to drop one once they are loose and loose it inside the spoiler!!
I speak from experience lol. Took ages to get it out again lol

i fitted 3 to mine.

i recommend you use some decent double sided tablesticky tap, and use say 2 strip's each side, and just force them in place as you lock the spoiler down. the screws dont do much, and make life hard to line up.

Or Tigerseal. I know people who have used that and not even bothered with the screws. Just gonna be a right pain in the **** if u ever wanted to remove them!

yes its strong, but i found it wasnt thick enough, i just doubled up, and lined them up, and screwed the spoiler down, but that was because i was fitting 3, and needed a tight fit, which i knew was going to be hard.

i have a few pics of mine, but no close ups, but you cant notice the tape at all.

when you fit them do you just re use the screws under the spoiler or do you need to get longer ones

The ones that came with mine were an allen key head, they were about an inch to inch and a half long ( might have been slightly longer ) You would need to get the width / thread type from the original screws.

I used some good quality double sided tape, yet 12 months down the line the bottom section has come away.
I've purchsed some Sikaflex 221, to re-fix.
When I take them off, i'll measure the bolts if you like. But it won't be for a week or so!

Found some. Anyone fitted these using just double sided tape because my spoiler does not have the holes?
