I recall seeing some threads on this type of subject a year or so ago. But as we all know, there's no longer any search engine (and where's that CD I paid £10 quid for?) I Now need to find something similar as 3 kids and two adults, plus holiday kit will not fit without some help! Can anyone advise on what systems they've tried? Thule's Rapid fit stuff looks good along with the Vision boc, but there is conflicting infromation from thule.com and thule.co.uk about fitting to my car, so any relevant information would be welcome, especially who does the best prices.

Halfords were doing an offer a few weekends ago. If you bought over £200 worth of kit, they gave you 20% off; 15% for over £150 and 10% for over £100.

This made them about £60 cheaper than any online store - worth asking them if the deals still on (BTW, it wasn't the bank holiday offer).

I did hear that there not very secure @ speed, so it might be worth checking out how much the original Subaru roofbars are from your Dealer.

Hi Julien,

I was making the same enquiries today for the exact same reasons except for 2 kids in my case! The Subaru "Sport Box" and bars for a 5 door (fits both classic and new shape) retail for about £378 together including VAT. The bars cost some £65 of that total. All including VAT. Lockable bars and box silver top black bottom with Subaru and the stars down the sides!

I think we need to search a bit further as my neighbour bought a Thule box and bars for his Carlton from Halfords some time ago for about £280 all in.
