Default Oil Pressure Concerns?

Can someone give me some advice please.

Upon acceleration and at speed, my oil pressure reads and maintains at 6.25 on the Defi, which is normal for my car.

However, when decelerating, it drops and at idle, sits at 3

I'm concerned because I have never noticed the Defi needle move like this before and could have sworn that, once the car was warm, the reading remained at pretty much 6.25, even at idle.

Am I worried for no reason or do I need to be concerned by the drop in oil pressure at lower speeds / idle. If so, what could the problem be?

Thanks,

Steve

Hell no if your oil pressure was 6.25 bar at idle you would have serious problems lol,ie blockage.
Myn reads around 6-6.5 bar when rev's are picked up and around 3 bar at idle at 85-90 oil temp mate.

Oil pressure will be lower at idle. Mine sits at 2-3BAR at idle depending on temp of oil. Pressure at idle will be lower when the oil is hot.

You may well be your mind can only remember cold start readings in which case your right, the oil readings are a constant 6 bar plus until warm and oil thins down some,it can take about 6 miles or 10 mins of engine running for readings to drop from high up the gauge mate so don't worry.
Your readings sound very healthy to me as mine is a freshly built forged motor and your readings are similar

All perfectly normal. In fact 3 bar fully hot at idle is quite high!
