Default hand brake effects engine speed!

hi, is this normal on subaru imprezas? its a 2000 classic, when i release hand brake revs drop slighty and when i pull up they rise slightly, happens all the time, is this normal?

also does anyone have a link to a shop to buy the dashboard light bulbs which light up the clock?

cheers

handbrake shouldnt really, as its all mechanical - just simply pulling a cable in and out. Your footbrake can have a slight effect on revs sometimes if you was to sit their pumping the pedal for example.

It could have an electrical fault when the warning light come's on its earthing or has a low out put on the alternator[nearly foobarred] and the added strain lower's the rev's.
All guess's of course!

What he said: ^^^^^^

Light up the clock? As in timepiece?

The bulbs behind the dash are all W5W, at least, those for illumination are.
