Default Strange fuel price.

Drove into local tesco today to fill up. My SL300, not the scoob, that gets V power. Anyhow noticed they had momentum 99. Well standard 95 unleaded was 132.9 so i thought lets see how much the 99 stuff is. 129.9 wtf is all that about, how can 99 be 3p a litre cheaper than the 95? So anyway, filled the merc up with it. Would of been stupid not to.

Yeah I have the same problem, I only have a Tesco near me with this 'Momentum 99' stuff. I have been told time and time again to fill with shell v-power but is the tesco 99 stuff any good?

From experience its always best to swap them round now and again they have different cleaning fluids in so think like shampoo use same stuff for ages get build up so best keep changing to keep engine suite.

I normally get more miles on momentum than v power.

But momentum is normally always more expensive by me. Shouldve gone to tescos that day!!!!

I've found that Momentum works equally as well as V-Power.
Sounds like they've got the prices the wrong way round!
