Question Been looking to sell, but then again..........more mods?

As per my lower signature I have been looking at changing my car. I got wrapped up in the cost of petrol, tax, etc, etc and in reality I can still afford my car. Having had it from new in 2003 my WRX has been awesome in itself and only let down by some poor choices of mods on my part.
Anyway, I digress.
Having had it recently cleaned up, clayed, polished by a mate, it made me realise how I still love it.
BUT, What can I do to put the "sparkle" back into our relationship? (LOL, its like a bloody marriage guidance thread!)
I've got the best wheels I could want in Oz Alleggeritas which will go back on next Saturday at RCM when I have it serviced (103k miles)
Suspension is Eibach coilovers.
It has a VF34 on it, etc, etc.
The exhaust I suppose would unleash some more torques and bhp as that is a collection of bits. The 6 year old Thundercat downpipe is probably not the most free flowing when compared to newer ones.
I dunno. What can I do next taking into account its age and the fact its only a WRX?
Suggestions please!

Very difficult to shift for 3 reasons

1. It's a Subaru
2. It's not an STi
3. No one will want to pay the money you think it's worth.

To be honest I would rather SORN the car that let my pride and joy go for a song. A really hard choice in this financial climate. I really do feel for you bud

Yours was up for sale for a ridiculously low price compared to your spend Its the nature of the beast as any money spent on modding is wasted cash

Was your price low cause your car is faster than you can drive

When was my car up for sale? You sure it was me. Yes I have spent a ridiculous amount but Big horsepower costs to do reliably

Question

I the engine is 'original' and not been rebuilt then at 103K miles you could be asking for trouble if you start modding for more power surely?

This is a question rather than a dig

I agree totally. It is the original engine with no rebuild.
Not sure I sort of want more power but maybe better refine what I have??? If that makes any kind of sense. I took some crap advice when I did the latest mods years ago and ended up with tubular headers n stuff. I am thinking like go back to ported "Harvey" headers, maybe even go to a TD04 hybrid and make a low spooling quick car. Or with ported headers I keep my VF34 and still get the lower spool than I have now.
Years ago I was not clear enough in my brief and I was most definitely easily parted from my money. I mean, ceramic coating in 2004 was not cheap! So you can imagine what I paid for the headers and then the ceramic coating! LOL
