ive started car sharing to work for a couple months and i use the mrs ka when i can even now. £2 pl is gonna hurt a lot of people and the gov would have to change the tax.

I'm walking to work. Saving me a fortune and good for keeping fit
I own a 4.0L petrol Jeep
It might well go up but £2 is scare mongering IMO.

Trouble is with us British is we all like to talk about what were going to do then when it comes to it the majority of us don't bother, Take France or somewhere like that for instance, If their government tried it on like ours does the whole country would come to a standstill, I'm not much better though, I'll sit here writing on my laptop, Complaining about it but will I actually do anything, Probably not, Their are those who will though but never enough to make a difference sadly

i agree think if it does goe up that much then it is really going to effect everything else such as food clothing public trnasport and it would really screw up up any little chance we have to get out of the recession we are in.

What happened to the times when everybody boycotted and fuel tanker drivers stopped becuase fuel was going over the £1.00 mark....
It doesnt matter what we think or even do, they still get their way in the end, they always do
They will put it up by 20p each quarter and by the end of the year which it gets to £2.04 they will knock 5p of it and eveyone will be pleased it under £2.00
At the end of the day if they dont put it on fuel it will go somewhere else, although duty still will go on everything in time, they will just hit other items harder and sooner if they leave fuel alone..... I dont smoke so I dont really care about duty on cigarettes, but how some of you can afford to smoke at the moment seems very odd to me. I mean you look at your dole **** scrathng lazy w_nkers who cannot be asred to get a job (no offence to those of try) who smoke 40 a day at £6 per packet
