Iv'e checked and made sure everthing is tight,i know it will need a tweek on the map but never did this before with the top mount,i have just had a boss welded onto pipework for the sensor and made sure the ptfe didnt cover the sensor, the big u bend dv pipe i have blocked of with a bung and the spout on the fmic pipework has a reducer pipe fitted also with a bung.

The old dv pipes i have blocked off as not being used .

mabe stating the obvious but have you looked at the throttle body, you can rev your car buy moving it, as its cable operated.

is it in the closed position??? pop the pipe off and have a look it should be closed. just worth
looking?

check the idle control sensor, similar thing happened with mine when fmic & syvecs fitted, would sometimes want to idle approx 2-3k rpm and stay at that, quick clean of the sensor cured it completely!

Assuming you haver a version 5, its just directly above where the fmic 'cold pipe' connects to the throttle body, you will see a black plastic plug connected to a metal cylinder which attaches to the righthand side of the throttle body (I think). Mine was pretty gunked up which im guessing was causing the idle to sometime stick fairly high
