Good tracker system or Blackjax?
Or both?
After advice on the above, anyone with any experience (good or bad)?
Blacjax appeals since there is some mitigtation of stolen keys.
TIA

i have the Clifford Concept 500 with Blackjax and the RAC Trackstar.
The clifford with Blackjax i highly reccomend.
RAC Trackstar i reccomend more, it has safespeed built in as well warning of not only speed camera's (only in the direction of Travel, unless a 2 way camera) but of accident black spots also.
The Rac Tracking system is a full street level tracking to within 3ft accuracy may be more now.. unlike Tracker where the police have to follow a signal which gets stronger or weaker the RAC system pinpoints the location and tracks it's every movement, they even call the car, with a 2 way intercom system, you can do test tracks to ensure they system is working.
I tried mine, and they said they would activate and call me back. the system tracked me within seconds and i was told the Location i was in, direction of Travel and current vehicle speed.
IMO a very worth while system to have, but it does not prevent the car being taken in the 1st place. Blackjax will stop anyone a couple of streets away.

Blackjax 7/10
Trackers etc 3/10
Steering wheel locks 8/10
Dipol lock 9/10
At least the mechanical thing will hold them up for 10 minutes
Sorry but all the electronic gizmos, text "stop", Trackers etc are mind blowing awesome to us Buyers but in reality are total ****, because most crims know how to do a simple "Frig" / "overcome"/ "back doors" etc etc. Sorry a bit like putting a key under the mat.
WHY do insurances rarely ask now for compulsary Tracking devices :P Because of the low sucess rate
When some who actually KNOWS explains how SIMPLE it was to overome, you may start to realise how useless some of these electronics are.
Most buyers believe the "Selling bull****" best way to have a tracker is to install a second activated device and et them find the "OLD" OEM fitted one
IIRC IMHO

Thanks for replies guys. Will speak to a specialist comp. Not convinced by a simple tracker (though there are some interesting variants) but Blackjaxx or a mechanical lock (not visible from outside) has some appeal.
