Default Rust under spoiler :(

My 03 sti has started bubbling under spoiler on each side. Is this common?
If I get it sorted at bodyshop what's chance of it coming back through?

No rust is not normally an issue.Has a different spoiler been fitted and the rust has appeared where the old holes were perhaps?

Or where new holes were made?

Normally, classics rust on the rear wheel arches, more so if the bumper has had a knock. That's all really.

see,id say spoiler holes, even original ones are prone to rust on classics anyway.

if your username is the same yr as ur car, 2003,id say as above, maybe its been removed at some time or just unlucky, alot of water has gathered

I know a few ppl this has happened to all had the original sti spoiler on,they where all told same thing when getting repaired is that water is getting in between the base of the spoiler and the boot so they had to take spoiler off and put silicone round the holes and bottom of spoiler seems to have worked so far.

It's original boot and spoiler. Appears to be on corners of spoiler as though when boot is shut spoiler has worn paint away maybe and water has got in.
So if I have it resprayed it will sort it hopefully or will it creep backthrough eventually?
