Default what power is my 06 2.0 STI

just bought a 06 plate 2.0l sti blobeye type uk its standard can anyone tell me what power it should have?? seems that anywhere between 265 to 290 have been quoted on various websites!!

Quoted book figure for a UK Sti is 261bhp. Hope that helps.

cheers guys it seems fast for only 261, my WR1 and RB320 def felt quicker!! time for a remap i think!!! do they need an uprated fuel pump as the WR1 & RB320 already had the upgraded prodive system??

if its not a prodrive or doesn't have the ppp then it will need a walbro putting in.

ok cool thanks!! is there any easy way of telling if the previous owner had upgraded the fuel pump at some point??

No. The PPP for my 03 STi included the uprated fuel pump. It's still there with a tad more power!

MY03's had better fuel pumps, it was only the MY02 UK STI's that needed them upgrading (for the PPP), dunno why the MY02's had the pumps they had but they corrected it on the blobs.

No you dont need to change them, the only reason people do is because its cheap, unless the car has mega miles on it the standard unit will be ok
