Default Insurance advice please

Hi all,

Just about to purchase an 01 Bugeye WRX tomorrow and was just wondering where's best for insurance at the mo? I'm nearly 29 with 7 years no claims..

Most of the quotes I'm getting are around £1000 at the moment apart from Aviva which are £780.

Insurance seems to have shot up this year. . I used to have a classic and was only paying £650 a year on that with less no claims...

Ta

Mike

I am 35 with 9 yrs no claims, 2006 Impreza WRX. Last year Marks & Sparks Money - £450. This year with Barclays £460. Depends where you live, excess etc but these were two names I hadn't ever previously had insurance with.

I've tried Go Compare mate, I'll have a check on compare the market though... I also phoned A Plan today but they couldn't get anyhwere below 4 figures. Just searching the forum now and it looks like Gary from Keith Michaels might be worth a try?

£1000 seems excessive based you having a classic before, enless you are in a high postcode?
