classic sti which version
as the title says which version of the classic sti would be better to tune i,ve been told that a v5 sti but just need your thoughts on this thanks in advance

Version 3 onwards, pick your poison as each has its pros and cons.....

as banny has said version 3 above, version 3 would be my choice. I had an sti v3 type ra, cracking car.

Version 5/6 heads are the best but that is also the years that had the weak maf sensor

V3 heads have most aggresive cams but need a stand alone ecu where as v5 onwards can be ecuteked
