Is a worthwile mod to fit a sportcat? The car is a 06 sti hawkeye with a H/S 2nd decat plus backbox. On the r/r after remap ( Duncan/ dynamix) 330/340.Any opinions?
And you are running the now standard cat?
If yes, maybe you will push bhp little bit higher, but if you are running decated exhaust its not point get sport cat, maybe just for MOT...

They can certainly make a difference, and they are a better bet than the stock cat. The nett effect is better flow, lower exhaust gas temps, and generally easier to get the puff out of it!

Sports cat on the 2.5 works almost as good as a decat as most of the remap is trying to stop it boosting to the level it wants anyway. Should do well
