Hi after been away from the scooby scene for a while iv just purchased a 98 type r in white. The car is a minter with a few mods as follows:-

blitz nurspec turbo back
headers
hks filter
fmic
apexi power fc mapped by andy forrest
550cc injectors
walbro fuel pump
IHI VF34 runnin at 1.4bar (Is this standard turbo??)
dump valve etc

What sort of power should i be seeing with these mods.

Similar mods to mine(mine has been New age WRX) and i have run just 350bhp with standard headers.

No,this turbo has been found only on one model V7 STi RA,this car has been equipped with this turbo(VF34)...

In this i'm not sure,but i think is TD05,i'm really not sure..

A version 5. (MY99) has a vf28 standard. Not sure if a version 4 (MY98) is the same but it will be a vf and not a TD.

 

TD04 was never fitted to Type Rs and the VF34 on your car has been fitted by someone else. As far as I know the first VF34s came out around 2001/2.
