Hello, is it a sigma alarm? I had major problems with that alarm when I had a classic, park 50 feet down the road, wouldnt disarm, try lifting the bonnet and keep pressing the fob, that worked for me a few times.

Overhead power lines & mobile phone antenna masts both cause major problems with the sigma, get someone to help you push it downthe road and try again! I spoke to an AA man once and he reckoned at one point he used to get 2/3 calls a week just because of it! Hopefully it's nothing too serious.

try opening the bonnet, get back into the drivers seat, and try it from there, and also reach under the footwell and somewhere near the alarm led (if yours is the same as mine was) and the try it, keep trying it, also if the ploice, ambulance fire brigade drive past, make sure you press it!! strange I know but in my classic every time they went pas I could get it to disarm. Hope it works for you, only other option is to tow it some where away from mobile phone towers, power lines etc

That might be the problem, their radio's interfere with the alarm, so many times I went to Shell to fill her up, paid, and the bloody thing wouldnt start, I did notice though that when the emergency services went past, if I was quick enough and pressed the fob, it would work. Last time I parked about a 1 and 1/2 miles from a mobile phone tower on a hill, thats when opening the bonnet and trying from inside the car worked.
