Default Classic Rear Bumper

Does anyone know how to get the 2 peices of trim of the rear bumper of a classic? Thanks

Do you need to take the bumper off to get these off?
I copyed the picture off here hope no one minds!

They're bolted on. Easier with the bumper off, but should be do-able with it in place.

They AREN'T bolts, iirc, they are clips. There is one at the front edge of each trim piece, in the wheelarch, that needs picked out, then and this is if I recall, the trimpiece SLIDES backwards out of some T-shaped clips, but it takes a LOT of force to get it out as the clips are full of crap and rust.

If you are spraying, why not mask off the bumper?
