Default Good Price?

Folks ive advertised my scooby for sale elsewhere, and stress this is not a for sale thread!
Ive had an offer on it, and i cant decide whether its any good..as there are some going for less some going for more on ebay and other sites.

Mines a 52 silver wrx, low level spoiler, black side skirts completely standard in immaculate condition, even the alloys have no kerbing, it has a tracker, parrot bluetooth stereo and cobra alarm, 5 owners and 77k miles.

Ive been offered £3000?

Should i hold out for more, or take the money and run?

I just 5 mins ago drive past an 02 Bug WRX on a garage forecourt for £2999.....we all know £2750 would drive that away....so what did the trader pay for it....£2k.....£1750??!!

Worrying ah!!....but all suggests 3k aint that bad?

That is probably the cheapest one I have seen at a garage! Now thats worrying me!

That wont sell imho.....i straight up saw one for £2999, but no idea of mileague/ owners etc.....had a head lamp conversion so far to say an enthusiast however was in burgundy red, not a good colour imho.

My mate just traded his WRX PPP in WR Blue with brake conversion, 18" gold oz wheels and 2 owners FSSH for £3800 against an £8.5k car....not more than 3 months ago...

Granted this is a wagon, hostorically they sell for less, and does'nt mention mileage so will be high.....but all the same it is an 02 WRX with 3 owners only and a big exhaust for less than £3k on a dealers forecourt.....food for thought chaps??

I think you could do a lot worse....perhaps better but as the saying goes......sometimes "the first offer is the best offer"....but i have said enough, let some other guys give you some feedback mate.....good luck...

Yea I know buddy but would ya not think it's still grossly oberpriced for a bugeye? This guy is notorious for stupid prices. Could be wrong though..

Na i would say it was a bit rich to say the least mate, but honestly i just think if something is lets say £3000 on a dealers forecourt, ill be paying £2500....always wiggle room for a cash trade sale......i got over a grand off my Spec D just by making the seller understand the cost involed in a full service, and telling him i would take it on a trade sale = no comebacks at all his end. If your confident most traders love it, makes their life easy, and what they make is gaurenteed profit ...Happy days!
