Yeah I got the app for my iPhone and it tells you all the stations with v power around your current location.

Not sure about android one but I would think it was just the same.

Oh, do you have a sat nav? Might be able to download a app onto that? Not sure though.

Ive never been able to find a list of stations that sell V Power Petrol , there is a list for V power Diesel but not really much use

You can download Shell loactions for TomTom here

http://www.shell.co.uk/home/content/...ation_locator/

Then install software called TYRE from here

http://www.janboersma.nl/gett/index.php

Within TYRE you can ask it to display POI data from the TomTom file file ( as downloaded from Shell ). This then displays all the Shell locations on a Google map. You can then use the Shell website to check which ones sell V power.

Bit long winded but has it's uses, Ive been planning a easter trip around Scotland based on where I can get V power

Cheaper to carry plenty of octane booster.

We HAD TomTom but the maps corrupted and we balked at ANOTHER £50 to replace them.

the process I described doesnt need TomTom, it just uses the TomTom file format and is 100% free

I'm after something for a Garmin sat nav if anyone can help?

Ah just looked at the tom tom thing and it mentions Garmin.

Now what the hell is an ov2 file?

Have a look here

http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=POIs

You have to register ( free ) but you can then download all sorts of free POI files including one for Shell stations. I think you can download for all makes of GPS.

Get a newer Nokia.

Is something similar available for the Ovi maps on Nokia?

Trying to update my TomTom is a ball ache, well I think it is anyway.
