Default ENGINE SPEC HELP NEEDED !

Hi guys ,

i need a bit of help with the turbo spec on my engine that im currently re building, im trying to aim for a reliable 300 BHP on my classic waggon, i need to know which it the best turbo that will do the job, im gonna covert the old girl over to FMIC,


any further help would be greatfully appreciated !

im hoping she will make the power with a Simtek ECU and a remap?


wat do u guys recon ?

I am using a vf28 on my uk wagon and it's running 297bhp and 330lb ft torque. Nice and quick spool and not had any issues yet.

A vf34 would do nicely on yours mate,very good spool and capable of 350 no problem

Yeah ecutek map by jgm. Should of mentioned it also has panel filter, sport cat and 2nd cat removed.

You will find it more difficult to find a '34 than its more common brother the vf35. It will give you all you need and more, and will weigh in at £250-ish.
Performance isnt that much worse either.

Yeah it is, and they appear for sale on here quite regularly. Mine cost £240 if I remember rightly.
