WRX New Front End - And More...

Maybe my taste is just totally fcuked up, but:
I think those three cars are all ugly. And, apart from the lights and the spoiler, I like the MY01.
His highlights include the award-winning Alfa Romeo 147 and the critically acclaimed Fiat Barchetta and later, Coupe.

Significantly, Subaru will launch a heavily facelifted Impreza before the end of the year. It is expected to be new from the windscreen forward. This is the biggest – and earliest – facelift in the Impreza's history.

I don't see why Subaru don't use the quick and easy method of sorting the looks - take one ugly MY01/02, add Morrettes, and bingo - a top looking car.....
But if they do update the front end significantly I reckon then MY01/02 values are going to plummet, leading to a lot of p*ssed off owners

The value of my car is what I'm worried about. Maybe i'll just have to get a skyline sooner rather than later. I'll have to sell my body. Anyone interested?
I'm not really into the morrette look though. Admittedly, the twin lamp look is nice, but because they still take the round profile of the original lights (especially at the top), they look a bit silly.
If someone made proper twin lamps and a new bonnet to match, then the MY01 would become a lovely car.

Guys, how radical do you reaaly think the facelift is going to be.Machine/production costs alone will dictate that these will be subtle changes as there is the cost of the major overhaul in 2006 to take into account.Relax and enjoy your cars.

I agree, the morrettes do have something of the after market add on look about them, whereas the STi7 version of the bugs look modern & classy IMO, & may offer a better mod.
Anyway, I dont 'just put up with' the looks of my WRX because of the way it drives- I think it looks great too.
BTW, IMO the 'classic' shape is great too
If residuals are affected by the phantom facelift, I might just have to hold on to my WRX a bit longer- what a hardship!

Looks like the bug eyes could be out of here before we know it...
