Default Duncan does it again !!!!!

Duncan (racedynamix ) waved his magic mapping wand
again and pulled a 410BHP out of my WRX wagon today !!!!
MD321H, a couple of bits and pieces and a big dollop of mapping
has transformed the car unimaginably !!!!!
Big thanks to Duncan who's smile was only a little bit smaller than my stupid grin.
Thanks to Chris at REVIT who was pilot for the Dyno runs.

Steve

Cheers Steve - was very pleased with the power although the first lot of figures would have been fun

It seemed to like everything that we gave it

Love the MD321H (good old fashioned non billet FTW !)

Fud - it is a std wrx 2.0 engine mate.

Obviously Steve is aware that this is really pushing the limits of what is possible on a std engine and doesnt expect it to last forever - he is starting a forged build very soon ready for the next jump in power

As Duncan has said the engine/gear box will not last forever, it has been put together with the big power forge build in mind ie rails, reg and so on.
So hopefully when the stroker kit/engine/gear box time comes, that is more or less just what is required.
Until that time I'll just enjoy living on the edge

Thanks Harvey
Everything seems to have balanced well, billet fuel rails maybe a little early but it does future proof it and makes life a lot easier for tinkering around the manifold area.
Just a comment to make about your FMIC, heard the various rumours surrounding road/speedbump clearance issues with the lower intercooler pipe and I know we had a chat about it.
If correctly installed this pipe is no lower than other areas of the underside of the car and infact mine is fitted with the bellypan back in place and is sitting above the pan !!!
I am not a mechanic but with the right advice from the right people the pleasure from doing the work yourself is very satisfying.
The right people in my case have been Duncan Graham, Harvey Smith, Mark (Lateral) and some stunning bits and bobs from Chris at CDF racing cheers

Steve

PS. Any body got a 6 speed conversion going cheap !!!l lol
