Travelling to work this morning going the other way was a new Impreza Turbo in dark Green... first one I have seen in Dark Green... how disappointing... it looks like nothing... not much chance of that being nicked though... had no presence or appeal.. looks like you have to have the bright blue.....which looking at the photos on Scoobynet looks rather nice... but still got to be a pre-MY01 for looking like the dogs danglies, with out resorting to lary paint....

The WR Mica blue is nice.....so is the Silver, Black and Red!
I think the style will grow on you eventually........maybe.
Do not forget the interior is a nicer place to be - except for the **** incar stereo.

I still like the car, didn't at first, when I first saw it on Top Gear I thought Subaru had gone mad!
But I have been and looked around a silver one at the dealers and got a brochure from Subaru UK. Not that I have enough dosh just nice to look at what I might be driving in 5 years time.
But I mean that it just doesn't stand out like the old one... the old one in standard form in Dark Green stands out from the rest of the boring metal travelling the roads..
The new one this morning didn't...
Perhaps the old ones stand out more because I own one?

The shape is a definite grower. I hated the first pics I saw last year but then seen it at the motorshow and thought it looked OK.
I've now ordered one because of the way it drives and the overall quality of the package.
When put the big wing spoiler and loud exhaust on, it WILL be the mutt's nut's (can you say nuts on a BBS?)
