MY03 STI UK PPP

Do I just use standard plugs or do I use one or two grades colder ?

You won't go wrong with NGK PFRB-7's mate

Yep, second that. But beware that some Subaru servcing/dealers won't fit them as I found out after buying some to be fitted. In the end they fitted pfrb-6's as the pfrb-7s were not approved items :-( If doing it yourself then go for it. Currentl;y run the pfrb-7s in my Daihatsu YRV Turbo and they are very good :-)

6's are good enough for the PPP'd cars, even the wr1 runs 6's
Only the JDM twin scroll STI runs 7's as standard.

Whats the benefit of 7 over 6 they is only a small difference in the price .

7 is a cooler plug, for mildly modified engines.

What sort of power would you start to use the 7's over 6's? For about 330bhp should you use 7?

I had 6's in my 2002 UK STi and at 335hp, they started to fail. Put 7's in and job sorted.

Should have added, you can put PFR7B plugs in a standard car so just stick em in, they worked fine for me right up to 430hp.
