Was it really 800 horses? Would be top of the bhp board if true

The Gobstopper would be at the top of the BHP board,but someone else will have to post it as no-one from RCM will.
The new body shell has just arrived at RCM, this thing will be mental.

Pure conjecture regarding Andy F's car. I've personally never seen a power figure or dyno sheet. I'm not saying he wouldn't top the board but find the above assertions strange.

Andy's old car ran 8.87 1/4, do the math

Banny, where did you get hold of that Gobstopper dyno chart ? I am sure you must have one for everyone I was always told it was circa 850 with NOS which seems to agree with what you have posted.

Given we have had over 700 out of a 2.35 at 2.15 bar on a GT4094 Turbo at just over 7000rpm, i would imagine Andy's 2.35 running 3bar on a GT42R Turbo reving to 9000rpm would be running way over 800bhp, personally think around the 950 mark.

although this is all academic as his Type R went a while ago and the new one isn't finished yet.
