400hp vs cars under 300 - surprise result of the year?!

Cossie got panned in latest Evo Mag, quite rightly IMHO. 22b & P1 look though.

TX.

They should have got Kev's 22b from the Scoobyclinic, I think that's close on 600bhp.

Dave Milne ( RB5 owner an driver ) Had a full tank as he was told it was a road test not a full out blast down a run way others had half tanks etc..

Either way he had his car well way from the flying stones

Here is the orginial Vid of the day .

Would have been interesting to see the Mark2 Type25 (cosworth etc) compete against the cs400....less money better car!

As said above, how can you compare cars with such varying bhp/torque ?

surely all the cars should be within 15-20 bhp of each other etc, comparing an rb5 with what he claimed was 265 bhp or there about to a 305 bhp p1 etc ?????

It's the same issues when they compare evos and Scoobys. They get an fq400 and compare it with a uk wrx!! At best an sti but you've gotta do a like for like .....meaningless otherwise when looking at performance.

Yeah it is a good vid, but does seem a little pointless in comparing a 400BHP 50k car to 200+BHP 5-10k cars.. The results are pretty obvious; the cars aren't in the same league (it's like comparing a ford mondeo to an RS4).
