Most steering based failures are notable through the steering wheel, alignment/ tracking is a must if you want a tyre to last more than a month.....if no knocks or pulls your more than likely ok, if its front wheel, stick it on full lock and inspect under the arch with a torch, bare in mind its not really that tough to buckle an alloy wheel either, when checking alignment check wheel balance this will tell you....not forgetting; Rally car....built for it

if anything is bent you woudl feel it when driving normally unless its only slight, again if you hit softly then might not have damaged anything either. also depends wether wheel was straight when it happened or on lock etc

Laser alignment can be ott for what you need, only the tracking on the front wheels needs checked, if that's what hit?
I damaged a wheel doing the same four years back, but it refurbed up well, and I took it in and got the tracking checked next day, it was out.
Don't drive far if you suspect the tracking, it soon scrubs a tyre off, and once started, you can't stop it

All good, but wont tell you if wheel is buckled, but honestly at low speed with wheel straight head on into a curb is more than likely fine......i hit a curb side on last year in my Porsche 911 (now sold for Scooby)......did'nt damage that in anyway.....othethan me wanting another Impreza
