Yes - had the offside front one break a few months ago. Drove like that for a few weeks until I had time to get it fixed.

Mine seemed fine, then the MOT tester took the car down the road to test brakes and come back 5 minutes later and said it failed because of arb drop link. looked under the car and it was hanging off, it wasn't before i left home and it knocked like f*ck on the way home.

Easy enough to replace yourself, they are £50 from dealers.

Hi
The n/s/f drop link has broken twice on me in the last yr or I blame the dreadfull state of our roads plus the 1001 speed bumps here there and everywhere. You can get the solid plastic drop links for about £20 a pair off ebay if its the metal ball joint type there about £30 a pair. There really easy to fit yourself some ramps and a decent socket set and should be done and dusted in 20mins if the bolts come off nice and easy.
Just to let you know the CDF Racing have a group buy on the uprated metal drop links at a steal for £120 for front and rear inc all nuts and bolts.

Hope that helps

Rich

Yep, my rear one went a couple of years ago so I replaced them with solid ones - touch wood, no problems since
