Default My spending spree is over!!!!

I think I have finally stopped spending money on the car. The last three weeks has seen the car transformed from a standard 04 sti to having the following added;

Panel filter
Walbro fuel pump
Graham goody stainless sport cat system
Bc coilovers
Brake tech disks and pads
Duncan from dynamix worked his magic with a remap
Full cam belt service at powerstation
Spare set of alloys fitted with winter tyres

I'm now low on cash but having more fun!!!!!!

It never stops, you'll just spend less some months, especially when you're enjoying driving it, although the cost of petrol ensures the hole in your wallet remains

Mine has hammered the credit card, and I won't see half of the stuff fitted for at least a month, or until I can afford a nice big turbo.

Lots of fun when you get it all fitted, feels like a new car every time

It definitely never stops, very shortly I'm fitting an APS FMIC, AEM water/meth injection, Kakumei reverse carbon fibre scoop, Spec C Limited interior, KS3 knock analyser, a full set of Samco hoses and another remap with Bob Rawle.

And then probably in the late spring a Scoobyclinic SC46 twin scroll turbo plus whatever else sparkly that comes along.

The spending doesn't stop it just gets larger as you do the 'small' jobs in prep for the larger ones to come.

Mines the respray next, followed by an 18G with some pinks, and a K-Sport front/Brembo rear brake conversion

A bare metal colour change?

The K Sport/Brembo upgrade will make a real difference also I'd go for EBC Bluestuff pads at the same time.

Nope, DBM but with a twist - literally

Having hit a deer, watched the lacquer flake from a previous poor repair and adding some subtle bodywork changes I thought I'd bite the bullet and get the whole car blown over

I was on same boat after fitting everything and now i'm hungry for more power.
Now at January 2.1 Stroker with AVCS,later of year replacing the VF34 for GT30,replacing OE ECU for Syvecs/Solaris,AP 6pots and Tein coilovers and after this just keep it or spend more
Spending never end and is very addictive...

Mine has stopped for well over a year now. After getting to 380bhp/350 torque. AP 6 fronts, 6 K sport rear, 18g hybrid with roller bearing, aps top mount, 650cc, tein monoflex with edfc, sound deadening, miltek exhaust, whiteline goodies, etc, etc.

I think I should set up a club called Subaru spending anonymous.... I actually do not feel like upgrading anymore either..... as on the road I have as good an experience as I need...

But maybe if I just.... and so it begins again LOL ;-)
