Default worth selling or keeping

I currently own a 2005 STI PPP blue with 45,000 miles on the clock, I cant figure out if i should keep it or get rid of it. The only reason I would probably sell is due to the mileage its a tad high for me ( or am i being sill?). Very confused, advice would be welcomed, if i do sell would like to stay with Subaru ownership.

At 45k mate its under average for its age so i wouldn't sell for that reason alone.

Well if your only putting very limited mileage on it i wouldn't worry, prices are just poor at the moment but will hopefully rise once the country gets sorted abit, but how long that will take is open to debate lol.

If you like it and had it since new and it has been a good one I would keep it and run it into the ground especially if it's a weekend car

It will be trendy to have old subarus in 20 years time when the chavs have ruined the classics and many have been scrapped

Look at the rs scene ,it's big and subarus will be like that in10-20 years time

Its going to loose value regardless of mileage, you might aswell drive it and get some value for the money you paid for it.

May sound crazy take it on a track day, and you'll think its all the car I will ever need.

Hawkeye would be a good choice, but if your worried about mileage, stay away from the hatch as you will be lucky to get it to 45k without a fcuked engine..

Stick with what you have, keep the services up together and you shouldnt have any problems at all.

My 03 wagon has just crept over the 83k it gets loved and serviced every 6k regardless if it needs it or not.
Never missed a beat and runs fine.

As they say take care of it and it will take care of you.

same boat but with an 04, probably get 7500 today for mine so what do you buy with 7500, er not a whole lot and def not something better. Ivé decided to hang on to mine for the moment, at least till feb march because these types of cars just aint moving, maybe then you´ll get a really good deal on something else like an r32 or focus rs. IMO not worth changing for the hawkeye, too similar and infact not superior.

I think the Hawkeye is the better looking car but not experienced the 2.5 engine I take it its not that good. I remeber placing a advert on pistonheads for my car and not getiing a single call even after dropping the price. Then decided to part ex it against a e46 M3 again got silly prices.

Too funny I was going to do exactly the same thing on an 01 m3 from a dealer, he said i´d have to give him 4 to 5 grand on top of my car, if it had been a couple I might have been tempted but an m3 aint that much better...is it? Yeah for sure hawkeye looks better, but only from the front, inside back and sides are almost the same, plus the engine is gonna make you paraniod to the point of not wanting to push the car.

I use to have a 330ci ages ago so always wondered what a m3 would be like. Usually when i think of selling the scoob is when i havnt driven it for a while, soon as i get in it i think to myself theres no other car that would give me a buzz like the scoob.
