Winter tyres
Just bought a set of winter tyres for my sti. But after purchase I have noticed they are run flats! Is this a problem!!! Also what time of year do you guys put your winter tyres on?? Thanks

I dont suppose that run flats will cause any problems to be honest.
This is my first winter with my Subaru and I switched to the winter tyres late October. I will proberly switch back to summer tyres when the average temp goes back to 10degC which I guess will be around March/April time.

Thanks very much I was worried about there being a problem with them being run flats!! Could do with finding another standard yet of sti 8 alloys to stick them on now!!!

winter tyres are suppose to be used between temps of 7 degrees and below basically december-march the first 300-400 miles you will notice the **** end twitching after that you should have no probs you will notice a big improvement over your braking and the tyre grip
